DRAFTER - Full-Time

We seek a dependable, hardworking employee to add to our drafting team. Excellent attendance is required daily to meet our customers' expectations and deadlines. We are looking for someone with CAD skills. We use Microvellum, which uses CAD commands to create drawings. Our customers are typically general contractors building new facilities or remodeling hospitals, doctors' offices, banks, and schools. The pay is based on your skills and experience. We will train the right candidate on how to use Microvellum, but you need to have CAD skills. This is a permanent in-person position.

Starting pay is $20.00/hour. Full-time is 40-44 hours per week. Optional benefits are available.

CABINET ASSEMBLY - Full-Time

This person will learn how to assemble cabinets on the box line assembly line. The pay rate is based on experience and abilities. You should possess construction skills or be handy. You should be familiar with and comfortable with woodworking tools. We use high-tech automated machinery to cut and machine parts, and the cabinet builder assembles the product. You should have an eye for detail and should be able to read and understand shop drawings or prints of the cabinets.

The pay is $18.00 per hour, with optional benefits. The start time is 6:00 a.m., and reliable transportation is a must. Depending on the workload, the end time is 2:30 or 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

As this is an assembly line position, you must work well with others. You will do multiple tasks during this process, such as attaching hardware, hanging and adjusting doors and drawer fronts, and detailing and cleaning the final product. This is a TEAM WORK position. MACHINE GROUP - Full-Time

We are looking to add a full-time employee to our machine group. You must have reliable transportation, as being at work daily is a top priority. The position requires operating a woodworking CNC, computerized beam saw, dowel insertion machine, or edge bander. This is not the same CNC that is used in metal shops. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with running large machinery and have at least basic computer skills. Programming requirements are handled in the office; therefore, programming experience is unnecessary. We can train you on our machines if you desire to learn and have a good work ethic, but you should have some experience running machinery.

The pay range is $19-$20 per hour based on experience, and optional benefits are available. The start time is 6:00 a.m., and a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a must.

Attendance, Attitude, and Commitment are the key components of working at Horizon Group. A good work ethic and attendance are required. Depending on workload, the end time is 2:30, 3:30, or 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
