Purchasing Agent/Buyer (Full-Time)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent/Buyer to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to order materials, supplies, and equipment for our company’s needs. This will involve creating purchase orders (POs), processing corresponding paperwork, reconciling invoices versus POs with coding, and turning them into accounting for payment. You will collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve purchasing issues and support the purchasing manager and accountant in various administrative tasks. Experience working in purchasing is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and social skills, as well as good verbal and written communication skills, are needed. You must be able to lift, carry, and move a minimum of 25 lbs. The salary range is $19-$21 per hour based on experience plus optional benefits. Cabinet Assembly (Full-Time)
This position involves assembling cabinets on the box line assembly line. You should possess construction skills or be handy. You should be familiar with and comfortable with woodworking tools as we use high-tech automated machinery to cut and machine all of our parts, and then the cabinet builder assembles that product. You should have an eye for detail and should be able to read and understand shop drawings or prints of the cabinets. We have experienced cabinet builders who will teach you the Horizon way of building projects, but you should have some similar background to be seriously considered for this position. You will need to work well with others as this is an assembly line position; you will do multiple tasks during this process, such as attaching hardware, hanging and adjusting doors and drawer fronts, and detailing and cleaning the final product.
